Shipping Schedule

Knafeh ships every Monday and Tuesday via USPS or UPS
. Orders must be placed by Thursday to be shipped the following week.

Please note: We strongly recommend using UPS Next Day Air Saver® or USPS Priority Mail Express 1-Day Shipping on orders outside of Southern California for absolute freshness. Packaging

DELIVERY OR PICK UP

Cupcakes are packaged in a plastic container (remove completely before reheating), pies are packaged in a foil tin with a plastic lid (remove lid and reheat directly in tin). Syrup is included, either on kanafeh or on the side in plastic container.

SHIPPING

For shipped orders: Items are made to order, vacuum sealed, and flash frozen for maximum freshness. Items are wrapped in insulated bubble wrap and packaged with cold packs to ensure quality. Shipped orders do not include simple syrup, easy to follow recipe included. 

Allergies

Our products do not contain nuts, but are manufactured on equipment that also processes nuts. Contains: Wheat, Soy, Dairy

    Syrup Recipe

    Makes enough syrup for 1 pie or 12 cupcakes

    INGREDIENTS

    2 cups sugar
    2 cups water

    INSTRUCTIONS

    1. Add all ingredients to saucepan over medium-high heat, stirring to dissolve sugar
    2. Continue stirring until syrup comes to a boil
    3. Reduce heat to low and simmer for 8-10 minutes
    4. Remove from heat and cool to room temperature

    Reheating Instructions for Delivered or Picked Up Fresh Knafeh

    OVEN

    1. Preheat oven to 375 F
    2. Bake for 15 minutes or until heated through
    3. (Optional) For a crispy top, broil for 1-2 minutes

    MICROWAVE

    Microwave one piece at a time on high for 35 seconds or until heated through

    Baking Instructions for Shipped Frozen Knafeh

    PIE
    1. Preheat oven to 385 F
    2. Remove plastic and place on sheet pan
    3. Bake for 40-45 minutes (until golden brown)
    4. Remove from oven and pour 1 1/2 - 2 cups of syrup evenly over pie, letting it soak into the cheese for 10-15 minutes
    5. Best if served immediately. Store leftovers in the fridge and consume within 3 days
    CUPCAKES
    1. Preheat oven to 385 F
    2. Remove plastic and place on sheet pan
    3. Bake for 20-25 minutes (until golden brown)
    4. Remove from oven and pour 3-4 tablespoons of syrup over each cupcake, letting it soak into the cheese for 10-15 minutes. Best if served immediately. Store leftovers in the fridge and consume within 3 days
      Storage
      Unbaked, frozen, vacuum sealed knafeh can be stored in the freezer for up to 3 months. Remove from freezer to defrost 8 hours or overnight (up to two days) before baking. Knafeh can also be baked directly from the freezer, simply add 10-15 mins to the baking time. Fresh knafeh should be stored in the refrigerator and consumed within 3 days.
